I went on an incense burning 「香道」tour on Tuesday with the Furukawa Art Museum. I was lucky that my college offered it, because I would not have found it otherwise. We were able to enter a traditional tea house. The incense burning was very interesting, and it was so cool to have a professional leading us. We then toured the house and saw the art of Hiro Isono, and I met his wife! I'm a fan of the Secret of Mana games, so it was a neat coincidence. Our guide was very helpful too. We then went to the Art Museum which had very cool art. Then we went to the Kakuozan Nittai-Ji Temple. It has relics of the Buddha and is a symbol of Thai and Japanese relationship. Then we went to another cool house garden and ended up at Souoji Temple. Nagoya has so much to explore, and I only have two months left! I picked a good partner university.
