October 21st Travel Log

Welcome to my first travel update! I have a lot to share, so I will probably post date some updates. Today was the NGU Festival!! It was so awesome. They had some local rock and hardcore bands playing, with a lot of good festival food. I love hardcore, so my favorite band was ウェルビーズ. They captured perfectly hardcore. They climbed up the speaker towers and jumped into the audience. It was a good time. It had similar energy to U.S hardcore shows, and I was able to learn the motions along the way. It was perfect for the cold day. It was such an awesome experience, I love finding local bands. I would recommend their music! I'm not sure if their album is out yet though. My Uni got such good acts, it was surprising considering how disappointing my US Uni usually is. Shoutout NGU. There is another day of the festival, but idk if they will have such good acts for a second day.

This past week, I visited Gifu Castle. We had a day off for festival preparations, but the international students didn't have anything to do so we travelled. It was really neat. We had to hike up a steep mountian, and we barely made it up before the rain started. We hiked up with a very nice Japanese Woman. She was 70 years old! I hope that I can maintian my body that well. The rain felt so nice. The Castle was awesome, I have a picture at the end of this update. You could see Nagoya city from the top, which was so cool. We then took a cable-car down the mountain. It has been awesome seeing so many new places and meeting so many new people.

Thanks for reading!
